S7E11 - Brian and Stefanie Vaughan

Raise and Release.

Brian and Stefanie speak on raising their family and being prepared to launch them into the world, even when it's across the world. They have two of their four children and seven of their nine grandchildren on cross-cultural mission fields. Psalm 127:4. "Like arrows are in the hand of a warrior, so are children of one's youth." What is life like when those arrows are sent. This episode is both challenging and humorous.

S7E8 - Ryan Waldroop

From Addict to Advocate for Christ

According to the world’s standards, Ryan should be behind bars serving time or even quite possibly dead from swallowing the drugs he had intended to sell when he and his brother were stopped by the police. But God! Ryan’s story is no longer marked by the abuse, drugs, pornography or rebellion but it’s one of God’s mercy, liberation, kindness and favor.

S7E7 - Deniese Redd

She’s a walking miracle woman!

You’ve heard the Timex slogan, “It takes a licking and keeps on ticking.” Well, Deniese embodies that. Life has repeatedly hurled heartache, hardships and health crises her way but she has risen to each occasion and has reigned victorious. She’s a walking miracle woman!

Two quotes from this episode which struck me:

  • “You either trust or you run.”
  • “Lord I belong to you, so I surrender to your plan.”

Deniese also launched a business! She makes aprons, “Designed for Destiny.” The story behind how that business came into existence was shared during this episode. Remember what you think you’ve failed or never completed maybe the start of something great! Deniese is a prayer warrior and a wonderfully strong woman who has helped shape my walk with Jesus. I’m honored to have her on the real deal podcast.

"NORM!" Like in the sitcom, "Cheers," my friend, Greg Sandvig has the welcome of God all over him. He desires to create a safe place for people to gather and belong within the church. Steeped in the Word of God and the power to stand strong in Christ, Greg wants to encourage others.

S7E3 - Buddy Time w/ Gayle Novak

We discussed the need for space and atmospheres creating environments for people to express themselves and feel comfortable. How shifting into transitional places in the natural often reflects a change in the spirit realm. We encourage you to purge and MAKE ROOM! Move on to the next level, the new thing.

We sent out a challenge to start something new. A little nudge to begin now because the time is now.

Be faithful to the little steps and leadings of God and watch as he stockpiles the experiences and shepherds us into his heart. Don’t despise the day of small beginnings and do whatever it is you’ve always wanted to do. Pay attention to how you are being equipped and qualified for a new thing. Begin with intention and do it even if it’s clunky…do it afraid, just do it!

Let us know what barriers you’ve broken through and what you have chosen to do.
